How long after the "use by" date can one use sliced deli ham

it is a week past the use by date on freshly sliced ham bought at the supermarket. how long are the slice good....

Please remember "smell" is a very unreliable indicator. Foods such as deli meat that are contaminated with listeria look, taste, and smell normal.
