I have a question about the recipe "Homemade Chocolate Syrup" from Cara Eisenpress. Can this be made ahead and kept in the fridge or will it be better kept room temp?

I haven't made this recipe before but I don't see why it wouldn't keep in the fridge. Just heat it up slightly to melting temperature in the microwave before mixing with milk.
