Cut the braising time for a smaller piece of meat?

The recipe I'm using for braised brisket calls for 3 hours of cooking time for a 6-pound brisket. I'm cooking a 3-pound brisket. Should I cut the braising time?

Hi DebJ, no need to significantly cut the braising time. It should be about the same, only adjusted marginally for the thickness of the cut. Check in around the 2h mark and see if it is tender enough at that point.Happy cooking!
