I have seen a lot of truffle recipes online but none of them tell me whether they're ok to be mailed or how long they can be kept. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!

I would have to see the recipes you're referring to in order to have any idea about their stability. I know the truffles I make are fine to mail, especially in cold weather.
