I want to make a mushroom and onion gravy/sauce for my steak but I don't have any wine or beef broth. I do have bullion cubes and bisto gravy

This mushroom gravy is one of my favorites: https://food52.com/recipes/7483-vegetarian-mushroom-thyme-gravy You could use your bouillon cubes to make the 2 cups of stock called for in the recipe.
