This recipe appeared in NYT, not here, but it is roasted carrots with several something else's, and one of the best things I've made lately: http://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1017265-ludo-lefebvres-roasted-carrot-salad (The second time, I did it as a warm salad and liked it even better.)
