Just ran out of milk, making cornbread and have half/half, heavy cream and water... What's best way to finish the amount off?

Need 1 and 1/3 cups and only have 2/3 cup milk

I agree with Ali. I have used half & half, and it was just fine.
When you cut a piece afterwards and butter it, you may not need as much butter. :)
Nah. Just kidding about the butter...

I might use exclusively half and half (skip the nonfat milk) since it is similar to whole fat milk. The result will be richer and likely wonderful.

What kind of milk do you have, and is the recipe calling for whole?
