Is it true you should splash broth or water on your dressing/stuffing to keep it from drying out?

Are you roasting a turkey? If yes, drizzle drippings over your dressing. If no, a few pats of butter and a light (don't drench it) driz of broth does wonders.

What do you mean my splash? And is there a particular recipe you're following? It's true that adding liquid will certainly help reduce dryness!
