How to fix a De Buyer beeswax pan?

Hi, I have a De Buyer Mineral B pan that I accidentally left empty in the oven with the oven on. The finish is now brown and sticky. Can't find any info on how to recondition or "start over" this pan. Anyone have experience with this?

For cast iron and carbon steel pans, the easiest way to start over is to put the pan in the oven and run the self-cleaning cycle. When cool, you can wipe away the ash and redo the seasoning.

Note that this is also the easiest way to clean BBQ grill grates.
