I have a question about the recipe "Dill Pickles" from Natalie Griffo. All I need is pickle juice will I need to use cucumbers to get the correct taste of pickle juice or could I just make the brine using the pickle spices..

Sounds like a lot of work to get brine.
Maybe steal some from commercial pickles & top them up with vinegar?
Otherwise, yes you will get some taste from using pickle spices, but not as much as from brined, mature pickles.
