A question about a recipe: Sumac & Za’atar Roasted Monkfish

I have a question about the recipe "Sumac & Za’atar Roasted Monkfish" from joudie Kalla. What is a good substitute for monkfish? I have limited fish options. Thanks!

Pending what recipe author Joudie Kalla says, here are suggestions from a food substitution bible (David Joachim) for monkfish. See if you like and/or can get any of these near you:

Hi i think you can really use any white fish you find and also salmon if you like which i have done many times. I wouldnt use any more oily fish like mackeral etc as the strength is too over powering. But it should work with most white fish you can find. I hope that helps.
