too much onion in cole slaw , how can i fix it?

here is the recipe I used, it states 1 tablespoon of finely grated onion. apparently, i added too much and so it can't be picked out. it has an overwhelming taste of onion, how can I fix this. thanks.

Make another batch without onion and combine the two.

Or just pitch and start over.

I'm probably in the minority here but I'm a strong believer in moderation when using alliums (onions, garlic) -- especially raw. For me, I add a little and taste. Maybe I'll add a little more or maybe I'll stop.
