A question about a recipe: Cranberry Pithivier

Trying to make this currently and the directions never mention cooking or even chopping the raw cranberries before putting them in the puff pastry, is this correct? They are just recombined whole with the dried ones and then baked?

Yes, that's correct! Cranberries are very willing to burst and break down when you cook them.
