can i cook pasta in canned chicken broth?

It's fine to use chicken broth from a can, but you would also have to add water to just one can to create enough liquid to cook the pasta. Since you'll be cooking it in diluted broth, and then beef will be a stronger flavor in the finished dish, it may not be worth it to use the broth. Just be sure to use some good seasoning stirred into the dish before you bake it - salt, pepper, herbs of your choice such as oregano or Italian seasoning.
