I have a question about the recipe "Cindy Mushet's Italian Jam Shortbread Tart (Fregolotta)" from Genius Recipes. I wonder if you could sub vegan butter and gluten free or almond flour to make it vegan and gluten free?

I have made shortbread cookies before with vegan butter with no issue at all. I've also made the same cookie vegan and gluten free by using Bob's Red Mill 1:1 flour. Still, no issues. If the crust on this tart is similar to a shortbread cookie, it should be just fine.
