Meanwhile, 3 useful approaches when wanting to replicate a restaurant dish
1) web search will often turn up something similar if not identical;
2) there are imitation or knock-off recipe sites out there to help us reproduce restaurant dishes we liked;
3) ask the restaurant for the recipe (admittedly, this works better with one-off restaurants than with chains).
