substituting Agave for honey in cake

I'm thinking of substituting agave syrup for a portion of the honey in my family's traditional recipe. Can I do half and half of each? Less? We're trying to keep a low(er) glycemic diet.

Creamtea... I've experimented eithvreducing sugar in baking (e.g., three quarters, half of original) and it usually works.
I think you could try the same with honey and still get the flavor and most of the texture.
I've baked with agave and find it has less flavor than traditional liquid sugars (honey, maple syrup, etc).

Thank you Nancy, for your prompt reply. I ended up subbing just a small amount; we'll see how it goes.
