Sweet Soy - To use or not to use

I love this recipe just the way it is, but I’m sitting here looking at my bottle of Sweet Soy Sauce and wondering if I could put it to more use.

Any thoughts on how to incorporate or how to compensate for the sugar?

I think that would work. Since sweet soy sauce has (usually) palm sugar, I would say that you could use that in place of soy sauce and brown sugar and/or maple syrup. Taste the sweet soy sauce and see how sweet it is and then add either maple syrup or brown sugar to taste.
