I have some frozen (pre-cooked) crab legs that I would like to prepare tonight. Is it necessary to thaw them before cooking. Also anyone have any suggestions as to a good preperation other than steaming?

Let them sit at room temp for 45 mins, then flash steam them for about 3 minutes per pound in 1.5 inches water and salt.

You don't have to thaw.
