Would it hurt this dish to substitute cornstarch instead of flour?

Not sure that the cornstarch would hurt the dish, but it will make it different.
If you go ahead with this substitution, use 1.5 tbsp of cornstarch and 1 tbsp water for every 1 tbsp of flour in the recipe.
