Can I keep the chocolates in the freezer for storage?

definitely. when i make my truffles, i freeze the mixture and then form them easily and less messily, into balls which i roll in cocoa powder or chopped toasted nuts. Also, don't bother w/ kahlua; you won't taste it. Use pulverized Medaglia D'Oro in the coating, alone or with cocoa powder. You can also use a Grand Marnier knockoff or Amaretto. You have a great opportunity to use make many kinds of chocolate truffles in one batch
by dividing the truffle mixture in separate containers and flavoring each with liquid before you form them, or coating them with nuts or other after you have formed them. keep frozen til presenting them.
