Rice milk rice pudding - different types of rice?

Has anyone made this with different kinds of rice? I usually have Japanese rice on hand or white basmati. Would that work?

Hi! Between those two varieties, white basmati would be your next best bet. I haven't tried this recipe with that type of rice, but I imagine it would still work.
