Can I substitute lemon juice for white vinegar in baking a chocolate cake?
A recipe for chocolate cake I want to make calls for white vinegar, but its impossible to get it in the country where I live. I have 'cleaning' vinegar, but I have read that its much stronger and more acidic. I read lemon juice is a possible substitute, but I'm worried it will affect the taste of the chocolate.
