Help! I am trying to defrost about a pound of chicken breasts (2) for dinner tonight.
I also need to marinate it for about an hour. Whats a safe method to go about this. Thank you!

I personally take a Bowl in stainless Steel, put my quantity of chicken in & pour hot water and set a timer for 10-15 and that's it!

One way is to place in a zippered bag, squeeze the air out as much as possible and submerge in your clean kitchen sink filled with cool/cold water. Change the water as necessary to keep cool and check periodically.
