I'm guessing you mean starchy, probably from undercooked pasta. Solution is to add more water or broth and keep cooking, and tasting. That would both finish cooking the pasta and, along the way, help fix the thickness of the mixture (if you don't like that). Don't add all the water you think you need at once, because it may be too much. Depending on the size of your batch, start with a cup or two of liquid, cook, taste, rinse and repeat as needed.
