how do I clean Polycarbonate Cloche

How do you clean it? I had muffins under it for 4 days and they were covered with mold this morning. :(

The dome I have is made of the same material - and it can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher. You may want to check with the manufacturer of yours to see if it is as well. If it is- problem solved. Otherwise, I'd stick to dish washing soap and water. They do make cleaning products especially for polycarbonate as well.

Thank you for your reply. My dome hardly fits on the bottom rack. LOL. Hand washing it will be. Also wondering why my cupcakes got all moldy using it.

Baked goods like that still contain a lot of moisture, as well as yummy sugar. Mold spores are all around us all the time, too. Without the factory added preservatives, they will just not have much life expectancy at room temperature. After a couple days, mold is just inevitable. The only way to stave it off is to put them in a bag in the fridge, or freeze them. It's not the cloche, it's just the way life is when you are a tasty muffin or cupcake!
