Are there any tips on making this on the stove or a Dutch oven?

I don’t have a slow cooker but would like to make this in a Dutch oven. Is there a suggested temp or cooking time?

hi! you can definitely make this in a dutch oven. Here's how: do step 2 directly in the dutch oven instead of a skillet; for step 3, add broth and beans to the pot, bring to a boil over medium-high, reduce to low and simmer for 30-ish minutes; for step 4, mash the beans and continue simmering for 10-15, or until it's your preferred texture!
