Do i need to brine turkey if braising?

I'm planning to brown and then braise my turkey (parts: bone-in breast and thighs for 4 people) - will brining (Genius' dry brine) enhance the flavor? Or can I skip it? 🤞🏾 Thanks so much!!!

Great question! Reviews are mixed on if you need to brine your bird ahead of braising. The idea behind brining is that it the turkey absorbs extra moisture (hello juicy turkey) and ultimately gets nicely seasoned thanks to the salt. It could be a nice touch if you have the time, but not 100% necessary for a delish braised turkey. Happy braising!
