Would these work using an egg replacer?

I was wondering if these cookies would bake up as nicely if I were to use an egg replacer? I was thinking either flax egg or powdered egg replacer I purchased at my local natural grocery store. I wanted to try and make these for someone who has gluten and egg allergies.

Thanks!
JG

I don't see why they would not do well with the dried egg replacement or the flax mixture. I think I'd lean toward the dried egg powder, though, because flax seeds always leave those odd looking bits in things. Not to mention, they have a laxative effect and can cause some "airiness" in the unsuspecting. Since nobody tends to eat just one cookie- well...
