The recipe states to see “note” for kecap mains.  Am I stupid?  Where is the note.  Why can’t I find it? 😬

Thanks Lori!  I know what kecap manis is. I just didn’t see the notes nor is it mentioned in the preceding brief by the author so I was wondering what their note on it is.  Maybe some new insight or something I’m not aware of yet!  Thanks again.  I hope the author sees this and responds.

I think it's just referring to the author notes which proceeds the recipe ingredients.  Sambal kecap is a sweet soy sauce dip of varied heat, and this recipe uses the kecap manis and sambal olek  to make your own.  I suppose it's just meant to highlight that fact, perhaps?
