cutting sugar from tart recipe
i read that there's a limit to how much u can cut back on sugar as it adds moisture. i have 3 tarts that some people have found too sweet. any idea how much u can cut back on sugar safely (as a percentage of the total sugar in the recipe)? Tx

American Heart Association says - for health - cut sugar in baking 1/3 to 1/2 from original recipe specification.
Ali Slagle in a 2016 article here says - for taste and texture - cut maximum 1/3 from original measure.
