I have a favorite chocolate chip recipe, can I add add banana to it? Do I change the recipe?

I'm going to assume you mean cookies. If you add banana to the cookies the may spread too much in the oven. You might have to adjust the sugar content.

Patrice, can you elaborate a little on the recipe you’re asking about. Chocolate chip what? Cookies? Cake? Waffles?

The favorited recipe or a link to it would help a lot.
That said, might be better to search for a recipe that has bananas. No need to reinvent the wheel :)
