Can I substitute gluten free flour?

Interested in making this for a group, but someone is gluten free. Ive made this before and it turned out really well, but wondering if gluten free flours would through off any of the ratios.

If you use a flour like Cup4Cup the ratio should be the same.

Bobs Red Mill makes a 1:1 as well

I think as long as you stick to a gluten free direct ratio flour you’ll be fine!

You're always safe with cake recipes
with a pre-mixed GF blend from Bob's Red Mill or King Arthur Flour.

I agree, Stephanie.

i always use King Arthur Flour's "measure for measure".

WIth that blend, you can't tell the difference, especially with cakes like this applesauce cake and with any quick bread or muffin. That stuff is amazing, and so convenient! ;o)
