Question about Crown Pork Roast

I am wondering if I can make my crown roast ahead of time before a dinner party and keep it warm in the oven. Also an opinion of whether slow roasting or the high heat/reduce oven temp works best. Thank you in advance!

Your crown roast will need to cook around 2 1/2 hours, then it can rest for a decent amount of time, up to 30 minutes, so really you shouldn’t need to leave it in a warm oven. That might risk drying it out. I did one for thanksgiving a couple of years ago and it was amazing, I will say also that there’s not an actual hole in the middle that you can fill, so we did dressing and potatoes separately. Research recipes and glean the best ideas from all and you’ll have something great! Oh and you can order the little paper hats for the bones from Amazon!
