I would like to substitute, homemade cranberry juice for the pomegranate cranberry juice in this recipe.
I have some lovely homemade cranberry juice left over from Christmas brunch. I wonder if we would miss the subtleties that the pomegranate lens to this recipe. Any thoughts?

I've had plenty of cranberry juice and pomegranate juice in my life and personally I doubt if using a pure one in this drink would result in failure.
After all, this is not a classic cocktail like a Singapore Sling where a pomegranate-based grenadine component is essential (or at least expected by traditionalists).
Depending on your guests, they might enjoy with your fresh cranberry juice but I don't know their tastes so what you think will please them.
