How much carrots in "a bunch"?

I'd like to make this but want to be sure about quantities so the sauce-to-veg ratio won't be too off. What's "a bunch of carrots"? Is that a kilogram? Half a kilo? I would assume different sellers make different-sized bunches but weight measurements would be the same everywhere. Thanks

Hi Sandra, great question. Weight-wise, the bunches I used were about 1 pound total, or .4 kilo. The dish *is* saucy, so I'd add another medium-sized carrot or two if you're looking for a more even carrot to sauce ratio.
