Has anyone tried mixing in sprinkles to make a funfetti version?

Nice idea! But I find that mixing sprinkles in a batter often hides or mutes the colors.
I would put them on top of the cookies - when raw and shaped, to be baked in. Or just after baking, to be pressed in before they cool.
