Can dehydrating the crackers after baking help with shelf life?

Maybe dehydrating the crackers will give them some more shelf life, but what will they taste like?
Do a sample test batch - dehydrate half, and leave the other half as made. Then label, store the same, taste at intervals and decide if you like them equally, or one better.
