I have a question about the recipe "Applesauce Cake with Caramel Glaze" from merrill.
It should work, though won't be quite the same in the end. Do you have molasses? You could add 2-4 T per cup of white sugar to get that brown sugar flavor.
Thanks so much! No molasses her too, but I'll try the "raw" brown sugar here that is hard and see how it turns out.
