If anyone wants to do the saffron fettuchini, but doesn't feel like making their own pasta, you can boil fresh fettuchini in saffron water, just use a bit less water than you normally would and add the saffron to the water once it begins to simmer.

If I can find squash blossoms at the farmers' market tomorrow, I'd be happy to take the risotto.

I had no luck finding squash blossoms at our markets today, so if anyone with access to them wants to test the risotto, I'll put it back on the table.

Jenn,
Do you want to switch recipes with me? I took the Curried Summer Squash Soup but can do the risotto instead as I have TONS of squash blossoms in my garden...I can do both if you don't want to do the soup, though.

Haha, I know! I secretly really wanted to test the chocolate zucchini cake, but my sugar intake has been way over the top lately (birthdays!). Glad you're taking one for the team :).
