Collection of the Month: Holiday Desserts

December  3, 2014

Every month, we're picking a new collections theme. Gather together recipes, ingredients, tools, and tips, and at the end of the month, we’ll pick our favorite, most inspiring collection. Share yours in the comments; the winner will get a $100 gift card to our Provisions shop.

Today: We want to see everything you need to bake your favorite holiday desserts, from cookie sheets to chocolate chips to gingerbread cake recipes.

Update! Congratulations to Sara Leonard for her beautiful collection of desserts -- we're ready to relive holiday baking season again.

Shop the Story

December is the sweetest month -- rife with cake baking and cookie making and candy tasting. We all have our list of traditional favorites like cinnamon buns and soft gingered molasses cookies, and we want to know yours!

This year, make a collection full of everything you need for holiday desserts: the baking supplies you'll use, the recipes you've bookmarked, and the articles you'll look to for reference along the way. Show us what you're excited about (see my collection here), whether you love classic sugar cookies or an intricate bûche de Noël or gingerbread with a modern twist. One winner will get a $100 gift card to our Provisions shop!

Get collecting! Save your favorite articles, recipes, and products to a new collection all about holiday desserts and share the link to that collection in the comments below. We’ll pick a winner on December 31st.

I like warm homemade bread slathered with fresh raw milk butter, ice cream in all seasons, the smell of garlic in olive oil, and sugar snap peas fresh off the vine.
