9 Ways to Cozy Up to Dinner, the Nicholas Day Way

January  1, 2015

This time of year, it can be easy to fall victim to the Winter Blues. Snow that was once pure has turned to slush, the chill in the air is no longer charming, and the next holiday you're looking forward to is... Valentine's Day? Thankfully, we've got the cure: comfort food, and lots of it; with a side of humor, courtesy of our resident comedic genius, Nicholas Day

So from now until the March thaw, you can -- nay, should -- cook these recipes; ones that require braising or call for a serious amount of red wine or make you think of the term "fall off the bone." Carbohydrates are encouraged. Dinner should be eaten with a spoon. Dessert should be sweet potatoes. And everything should come with belly laughs. So make these recipes, and cackle in the face of short days and long, freezing nights. Take that, Winter Blues. See you never.
