ChefJune has been a member of our community from the very start and if you’ve picked up our new cookbook, Food52 Baking, (you have, right?), you’ve seen her kitchen handiwork firsthand—her Magic Espresso Brownies grace the front cover.
Making great food isn’t just a hobby for her, it’s her career, too. Luckily for all of us, she likes to spend spare time on the Hotline helping with burning questions like how to make a really light sponge cake, substitute ingredients, and scale up a dish like veal osso buco for a dinner party.
She helped Associate Editor Ali Slagle plan a Thanksgiving menu that’s on-the-go friendly (read more about the menu that Ali settled on here). And although we’re barely through Thanksgiving, since she admitted to breaking out the holiday music early this year, it’s not surprising that she’s ready to help with ideas for a main dish for Christmas.
