These Whole Foods Items Got a Lot Cheaper Today

August 28, 2017

The acquisition of Whole Foods by Amazon is finally official. And while some effects of the massive merger will take longer to be felt, others are more immediate. Starting today, for example, Whole Foods will be offering a variety of products at a reduced price.

These include: Whole Trade bananas, organic large brown eggs, organic avocados, organic responsibly-farmed salmon and tilapia, organic baby kale and baby lettuce, animal-welfare-rated 85% lean ground beef, creamy and crunchy almond butter, organic Gala and Fuji apples, organic rotisserie chicken, 365 Everyday Value organic butter, and others.

No better way to celebrate new, reduced prices than with inexpensive dishes to use them in, and we've collected 16 recipes to get you started.
