All the foods you loved the most.

July  2, 2018

Hello, sun; hello, heat; hello, sunburns! Hello, July!

Yes, folks, it’s all happening. Summer is officially in full swing, like 90° F and counting swing. And as we eke into July and grilling season and pool season, let’s take a quick look back at June and everything it had to offer. Each month, as the previous one comes to a close, we like to review the recipes you all loved the most. June, it seems, was all about ease. Simple, straightforward, beat-the-heat recipes to lead us into warmer months. In fact, many of them don't even require an oven—and that's something I can get behind.

As usual, we've also throw in a half recipe—a little tip, trick, or explainer that our readers couldn't get enough of. Scroll down to the bottom to see what it was.

In June, you all couldn't get enough of these Trader Joe's snacks—and with good reason. If you missed it the first time around, read on to find out our staff's go-to Trader Joe's picks.

What were some of the best thing you cooked up in June? Let us know in the comments below.

Out of all of these, I made the no-churn lemon ice cream, and it was a big hit. Just what summers needs--light, fresh, and satisfying. Paired with blue berries and a dollop of whipped cream, it was even elegant.
