Mondays don't exactly have the best rep.

Like, no one says "case of the Mondays" and means "a sudden jolt of energy and joy that makes me smile forever."

But what if we gave Mondays a makeover? One so dramatic and full-scale that when we're done, Tuesday will turn to the camera and give a deadpan testimonial that she barely recognizes the new Monday. Here's what I'm thinking: Let's all grab a ton of chocolate on our way home tonight, and get to work crafting a dessert so swoon-worthy, we'll forget there are four more days to go 'til the weekend. I'm talking the fudgiest brownies, cakes with lava-like melty centers, cookies chockfull of chocolate pockets, and milkshakes so chocolate-y you'll want to drink them out of the blender.

I vote, let's do it. You in? Great, you're in. Monday shall be henceforth known as "Deeply Chocolate-y Dessert Day."

Here's what's on the menu:

Nice compilation of recipes with a great variety of options. Thank you for the inspiration.
My proclivity is to temper some dark chocolate, add brown rice crispy’s and a couple of tablespoons of powdered peanut butter: mix it up, spread it out to a super thin free form shape and refrigerate it. Once crispy, break into small pieces and keep in a covered container in the fridge. A fantastic little treat with the added boost of some protein from the peanut butter powder.
