Alcohol and other goodies for hot chocolate

I am making hot chocolate for our holiday book club tonight. We usually do wine, so I am planning to set out some possible things to put in the hot chocolate. Creme de menthe, kalhlua, kahlua cream (or something like that). Baileys if I have it. What else? Would people ever drink rum in it? Vanilla vodka? Cinnamon sticks, peppermint syrup, candy canes... anything else non alcoholic?

I am aaaaaall about homemade marshmallows in my hot chocolate!

Any alcohol is suitable as well. Salted caramel sauce would be heavenly. :D

Kahlua sounds good. Chocolate + coffee is always tasty.

Not sure about rum, but since I'm not a big fan of very sweet things (especially drinks), I'd be very happy with a shot of whiskey in there - like an Irish coffee.

Oooh, forgot about chile powders. Definitely that too. And thanks for brandy suggestions, am pretty sure I have some.

Something spicy like chili powder is always fun. Love the cinnamon sticks! I know some people who like kirsch in their hot chocolate. Pear brandy and cognac would also be tasty additions.
