A question about a recipe: Cabbage and Red Onion Slaw

I have a question about the recipe "Cabbage and Red Onion Slaw" from Alexandra Stafford. Can the dressing be frozen to be used at a later date? Perhaps vacuum sealed? I have so much buttercream left over. I made a double batch for Canada Day and it was a massive hit. It was all gone before dinner was over. Thank you!

The dressing will likely separate if it is frozen, but you should be able to get it to blend back together.

Do you perhaps mean buttermilk?
Buttercream sounds like cake frosting.
