I accidentally added 8 tbsp of butter instead of 4 tbsp of butter to the Kindred Milk Bread recipe. Is there any way to save my dough?

I add extra butter often to bread recipes.

I think it will probably be ok with the extra butter - it'll be like a milk bread/brioche hybrid! It might take a little longer to rise with the extra butter though.

Happy to report that they are absolutely pillowy and perfect. They did take longer to rise but they got some height eventually. Thanks Eric and Stephanie!

Hi Sierra, I've never made the recipe myself, but the amount seems small enough to make the bread extra buttery and delicious. :)

Thanks for the response...it didn't rise very much but the dough feels and looks wonderful so I'm inclined to agree. I will let you know how it turns out. Thanks!
