Fresh pasta

If I make fresh pasta, how long do I cook it in boiling water to al dente?

Fresh pasta cooks very fast- I usually don't leave it more than a minute or so after the water returns to a boil- but it should be noted that it won't have the same kind of bite that commercial dried pasta has when cooked al dente- it will always be quite soft. Even uncooked, if you don't dry it first.

Usually about 2-3 minutes.
